A Cake Affair

I requested a German chocolate cake for hubby's birthday. I told Brenda that he was a Charger fan and that I'd like the lettering yellow and blue. It was decorated so cute, complete with a fondant lightening bolt! But the best part was how delicious and moist the cake was! You can tell they only use the best ingredients. Brenda made amazing cupcakes for my baby shower. I had a tough time finding a good cupcake place in SLC and luckily came across A Cake Affair on Facebook! I was a little skeptical ordering the cupcakes without tasting them but boy am I glad I did! The cupcakes were delicious and moist with yummy frosting.. They looked amazing. These cakes are incredible!!! They're totally worth the drive from Ogden. I have ordered several since becoming a parent and they're so beautiful. They consistently exceed my expectations in appearance and taste. The cake is delicious and soooo moist! The fondant is yummy too and reminds me of old-fashioned circus peanuts. I highly recommend these cakes! Brenda has artistic talent crafting these works of art that I've never seen duplicated anywhere else. She's become a family favorite and the flavors are top notch. I live in California, and my daughter got married in the Salt Lake City Temple. I just found The Cake Affair online. It was the best cake anyone had ever tasted! The white chocolate raspberry was unbelievable! Every layer was different, and each one was delicious. I wish Brenda could find a way to ship her cakes. Wow, I won't bore you with the details, but I know a lot about cake decorating, and a good v great cake decorator. This place is off the charts, great. Attention to detail, flavors, artistic/creative touch! Definitely have to check out this business, she'll rock your party, catered event or special occasion. This is my kind of Affair! It is also not just cakes! It is Cookies too! The frosting is even better than the art work (which as you can see is very hard to do). They make sweets for any event; holiday's, parties etc. Most importantly made for impressing your work friends or boss with the best in office treat. I love this place. She just did my sister's wedding cake,and it was AMAZING!!!! it was cupcakes with a small cake tier on top. Usually wedding cake isn't very good but this one was delicious and there wasn't a piece left of it by the end of the night! Thank you Brenda!!
