While traveling on a birding trip we picked Black Dog white cat cafe based on the reviews we read on TA. So glad we did. I had the Greek salad which was more than enough with delicious lamb and always throughout the salad. My two traveling companions shared the special of the day which was a pork steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. One of them also had a small bowl of the chili which she said was delicious. They really have made the menu inclusive for people who have dietary restrictions! It's fantastic, they were able to modify my meal and even served a really freaking good dairy and gluten free turtle cheese cake! Loved it!

I lived in the Green Bay area back in the 90s when your only upscale experience was Caffé Espresso or possibly the Oneida Casino across from Austin Straubel Airport. I am newly diagnosed type 1 diabetic at the age of 31. I was feeling really down the night I found out so we went to what I called "my last real dinner" and to my shock, there was a whole bunch of low carb meals with carb count for them on the menu, not only did that happen but our waiter changed my risotto so cauliflower risotto and it was AMAZING. Its like we were meant to go here this night, I know this is lame but I cried lol it meant that much to me :) I was so thankful for this because its a rare thing to see here in town on their menus. At lunch one time I needed something with a little more carbs then just the 9 that was offered in the meal I chose and the waiter again said he would have them make me a dinner roll or two, which I know they usually only serve the bread baskets for dinner. Thank You! I've been back about 4/5 times since diagnosed in March and will continue to be back and speak highly of this business. Not to mention it's best food EVER!!!!! What an enjoyable lunch experience! It was a good day for soup and sandwiches and A'Bravo did not disappoint. The three-cheese mushroom soup was perfect! The white chicken chili had spice to warm you, but wasn't overpowering. The sandwiches were unique and delicious. We ended our lunch with flavored coffee and a turtle brownie dessert to share-- the brownie cake was a bit dry, but flavorable. After moving away from the East Side of Green Bay, A'Bravo fell off my list of frequently visited restaurants. Today I am quite happy to say, it is back on! I had become bored with the menu and although their wine list never disappoints, I simply found other venues. But when I sat down with a very close friend today and perused the menu, I was astounded. From starters to small plates through full meals and desserts, the entire selection was re-invented. My choice was one of their many gluten free options. Caprese on califlower flat bread with the extra guilty pleasure of prociutto. Now, I don't know about you, but when I think "cauliflower flat bread" it is my way of eating healthy to justify an extra glass of Malbec. I pat myself on the back with the assurance I am making a nutritious food choice but with the expectation of a bland meal. NOT the case with A'Bravo! The food was phenomenal. By far the best experience I have hadin years at a restaurant the food was outstanding I had scalloped dinner saffron risotto and grilled brussel sprouts was simply fantastic and you have to have dessert doesn't matter what dessert you have they're all fabulous
