Preston is amazing!! He comes to your home and truly designs the training according to you and your dog. He is so patient and understanding and beyond knowledgeable about dogs and their behavior. Other than being so nice, you could feel how he genuinely cares about what he does and it’s not just a job. When I contacted Preston, I was in dire need of help with my one year old German Shepard dog. He was fine around my roommate and myself but once we were out in public for a walk he would show aggression towards anything that would move. Immediately right our first session we noticed a change in his walking behavior. Since then we’ve been able to enjoy our walks with the occasional need to correct him. Each session we had with Preston we learned not only why our dog behaved the way he did but Preston taught us how to correct that. Our dog also has separation anxiety when he was left alone and Preston was there to guide us in the search for a companion for him. We found our sweet girl at the animal shelter and Preston was there to help us get the dogs situated. Ever since then they’ve been best friends. I highly recommend Preston to anyone! Preston is extremely knowledgeable and a great trainer. Our dog had been bit by another dog and started to exhibit some fear aggression. Preston taught us how to increase her confidence, deal with the aggression and just gave us great instruction on how to train her to have good manners in general. I contacted Preston because my dog Huey was afraid to walk on a leash and get into a car. During our first session he was actually walking outside on a leash and enjoying himself! My smaller dog Penny pulls on her leash so Preston also gave instructions to correct that behavior and what a difference it has made! I worked at multiple rescues, training facilities and boarding facilities where I realized the immense need new dog owners have of communicating and understanding their new dogs in order to avoid unwanted behaviors.
