I got a very big room at a very good price last-minute. I couldn't be happier. It's silent and elegant and comfortable. I forget how normal hotels could be, without loud people and nightclub furniture in the lobby. This reminds me of an earlier time when hotels didn't try to be edgy, they were just places to stay with some luxury. But not pretentious.So it's obviously for people looking for this. We booked this hotel based on the price as well as the siting. Our communication with the hotel prior to our stay was efficient and we were not disappointed. We’d booked a superior twin which is one of their revamped rooms. It was just perfect for us. New York hotel rooms are small but it was fine for 2 people and everything was in working order. We’d been traveling for nearly 24 hours when we arrived - early, around 9am. We never expected to be booked in to our room that early but there was no hesitation by the desk clerk. We were delighted and so grateful, such a big plus for us. WiFi worked well too. On certain days there was a complimentary light breakfast provided. Alternatively there’s also an on site facility where you can pay for full breakfast. The free breakfast was a pleasant surprise - where would you find this perk in other large tourist-focused NYC hotels? All in all our 3 night stay here was most enjoyable and we’d have no hesitation in making it our go-to hotel. Steps away from Rockefeller Center, St Patrick’s Cathedral, public transport and a shortish walk from Times Square and Central Park. The information provided on their website is accurate too - we were able to go up to the terrace and see where their weddings and other functions take place, all with a good view of St Patrick’s. This space is truly a gem. Lauren who was our wedding coordinator was beyond helpful and gave us so many recommendations from custom linens to a florist. The food was to die for. The chef really did impress not only us but our guests. The view from the solarium was another hit, our guests could not stop taking photos. Lauren from 3 West Club was tremendously helpful for the entire year once we decided to host our wedding reception there - the service and assistance were phenomenal. For our reception, we planned to host the cocktail hour on the Solarium, where the guests could view St. Patrick's Cathedral. Then, they were expected to go to the 3rd floor Grand Salon for dinner, and then go back up for dancing. However, one of the elevators broke down at the beginning of cocktail hour. Plus, the other elevator was slow anyway, so our itinerary was delayed for about 20 minutes. It was confusing for our guests to go down and then go up too, so there was more delay in the process. The on-site manager was generous enough to offer us an extra 20 minutes to prolong the dancing. But due to these logistical concerns, it felt a bit rushed...I would recommend you hire a really good DJ/MC that can efficiently control/guide the crowd to the right places and double check with the venue for the elevators. It would probably also be a good idea to give all the guests a heads up about the run-down as well, which is something that we ignored. But overall, everyone enjoyed 3 West Club! More...

The property was nicely located near the Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall. Check in was easy and room was a comfortable size for a one night stay. Bed was sufficiently comfortable and wifi worked. I appreciated that the air condition in the room was not one of those loud window units. Towels were on the older, basic side, and you get to enjoy the NYC lights from the windows since the drapes are pretty thin so you get a lot of outside lights streaming into the room. More...

3 West Club is the perfect wedding venue!! I visited over 50 venues, and I immediately knew 3 West Club was the perfect spot for our intimate wedding of 45 people. We had our ceremony and reception in the Solarium and the cocktail hour in the Lounge. Each room is so elegantly decorated and perfect for our needs. The views of St. Patrick's Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, and Radio City are phenomenal. Everyone loved taking pictures on the terrace.The staff at 3 West Club was amazing as well. Lauren helped us plan every detail of our wedding. She was super helpful in making sure everything was perfect. The food was excellent too! Our guests could not stop raving about the food, so much that most didn't even have space to try out the dessert bar! The sound engineer also helped us manage our karaoke machine so we could sing our hearts out all night.My relatives and I stayed at the hotel before and after the wedding. The best ever! What a gem! We can’t say enough about this venue. We chose this venue for two reasons. 1. It is absolutely gorgeous. If you are planning a classy, elegant Manhattan wedding, seriously look no further. This venue can accommodate any size wedding party for literally the best price you will find in Manhattan. How do they do it? No idea.... but trust me when I say that you NEED to check this place out. Think 1920’s Great Gatsby classic elegance. 2. Lauren Charbonneau - the model of efficiency. It was important to me to find a venue where there was someone I could trust to handle the details. Lauren was literally born to to this. You always expect that even with the most meticulous planning, that something will go awry and you’ll have to improvise. Not the case here. From the very beginning when we signed the contract to literally 5 minutes before I walked down the aisle, Lauren and I were in constant communication. Every request was answered with a “no problem, we can handle that.” Every question was answered right away. I had so much confidence in Lauren that I wish she could just handle my life. The staff was very, very excellent! Courteous, friendly and pleasant during every interaction we had with them. They let us keep our bags there from when we got into town until we checked in. Then we were able to store our bags their again after we checked out up until the time we left town the next evening. The room was clean and there were no issues with the room except for the lock on the door. We had trouble every single time when trying to unlock the door with the key given to us. We let them know upon check out and the front desk staff said that they were sorry we had issues with the door lock, but that is expected from such an old building. The location of the hotel was outstanding to quite a few landmarks in the city: Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, etc. For the price we paid to stay here, we would GLADLY stay here again on future visits to NYC....no doubt. I co-organized a law firm reunion event at 3 West Club and couldn't have been more pleased.  We held it in the Pratt Lounge, which is beautiful (note the baby grand piano) and the 3 West Club Sales Manager Lauren Carbonneau was absolutely wonderful - uber pleasant, helpful, responsive and accommodating.  The food options were great and the service was excellent.  Plus, we found it to be a very good value relative to comparable options in the City.  Very highly recommend!! 3 West Club, especially the wedding planner, Lauren, was outstanding.   Lauren consistently went above and beyond. We had our wedding there last weekend and couldn't be happier.  Lauren is extremely detail-oriented, organized, professional, and passionate about what she does.  The rates at 3 West Club are very reasonable, especially for NYC.  They are willing to customize anything to make your day truly unique.  They have many beautiful rooms from which to choose you'd want to host every wedding weekend event there.  The sleeping rooms were super convenient for small children at the reception.  Lauren never forgot a small detail.  She truly works tirelessly to ensure your wedding is the best day ever and you don't have to think about anything.  She is there every step of the planning process and on the day of.  We didn't need a day of coordinator because of how much the 3 west club does.  The food is also outstanding.  This isn't typical catering food.  Orders are taken tableside, portions are large, and guests have a couple of choices.  It really is five star service.  Our wedding was not black tie but this venue could accommodate that if you wanted.  It truly is a gem in nyc and we are so thankful we found it.  The only hiccup is the hotel.  The hotel is 3 star operating for a 5 star venue.  The hotel would forget information about the room block when guests would call; it took several calls to get a pack and play for my niece and the rooms don't have safe.  We used a nearby full service hotel for our room block but it was helpful having sleeping rooms onsite.
