Came through in the clutch!! The wife and I woke up Yesterday morning to a strange noise - our water heater burst and was leaking. We were in panic mode - I needed to get on the road for work. I did my best to turn valves off and quickly showed the niece and wife how to drain it. My wife got ahold of this place and they sent someone almost immediately. Tommy showed up and not 3 hours later we had the water back on. Tommy was great - he communicated to us very effectively, resolved issues he ran into, and honored his estimate. This company has a different organizational model than most I've dealt with and it works very well. Instead sending an estimator and then a separate crew to do the work, Joes's 2 Sons Plumbing, sends you a lead plumber to do the estimate and that lead plumber them becomes to lead person on your project when it is done. David B. came and spent the time he needed to do a thorough estimate on extensive piping replacements for the house we had just bought in Seattle. In the process of doing the estimate, David caught two specific areas of concern that both our home inspector and a previous plumber had missed. David also came up with a very common sense way of bypassing inaccessible old plumbing with the replacement pipes saving us some time and money by not having to open and close walls. When the project was actually done, it went exactly as David had planned it. He knew what he wanted to do and what order it needed to be done before he arrived to do the work. He had all the correct parts and materials to complete the work. Many of my previous experiences with plumbers, that use separate estimators and work crews, were not this smooth because the estimator and plumber just weren't on the same page about the parts and materials or what the overall plan was. Another positive for Joe's 2 Sons is that their overall communication and follow-through is great. If you have dealt with enough contractors, you know that is not always the case. The quality of work was excellent. All of the replacement piping was correctly supported and insulated. The piping runs are neatly done (in sharp contrast to what they were replacing) and it is very easy to understand what supply lines are feeding what fixtures. Overall, I found Joe's 2 Sons Plumbing to be a well organized and run company. The quibble I have is that I wish they would set up a Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment system since the amounts of money involved in plumbing projects can easily tax typical credit card limits. They probably aren't the cheapest plumbing contractor out there in terms of initial price (although I've definitely seen more expensive ones that did lesser quality work) but I am always happy to pay at least a " living wage" for quality work. I would definitely go back to them if I ever needed a plumber again. Given the quality and thoroughness of their work though, it doesn't seem likely that I will need a plumber for a long time. Therefore, I expect that the cost of this project will be worth every penny. More...

Two days before Christmas the bathtub is filling up...via the drain! This is not good. We were planning to host a large family dinner, moved that elsewhere. Got on Yelp to find a plumber, never entirely happy with previous choices. Joe's has good reviews, and I needed someone to come out pronto, so I start making calls. Joe's says they can come out first thing the next morning and I say yes. They call back at the end of the day to confirm I still want them out, which shows good business sense. The next morning I get the call 20 minutes before 8am informing me of the approximate time to expect arrival, and the name of the person coming - good, confidence building. Guy arrives and I step outside to greet him and show him the cleanout. He's very friendly, likes my dog and shows it, and right away pulls out an iPad to get the job formalized. I like to see modern technology in use, it gives me a basis for trusting that things won't get forgotten or disputed. He gets right to work and is good about communicating with me (through windows) to help him with water on/off. He shows me some tree roots about 30 minutes later and we then flush out the line so that it runs clear. It's Christmas Even and I've got things to do so I'm happy to see him finished before two hours are up. For payment...well, they need to get card readers. The writing down of CC information, especially electronically where it can get away from you pretty easily, is really frowned upon, and effectively can get you in legal trouble. Kajik was able to come within 24 hours of my call, fixed the immediate problems within an hour and gave clear options moving forward to permanently resolve our issues. 2 sons dispatch called before he arrived, and confirmed that it was alright for him to be here early! It was especially great that they could take care of us on Christmas Eve because we have renters in the basement, and would otherwise have had to pay for emergency plumbing service. Thanks again! It is no easy task finding a plumbing company that is both reliable, efficient and reasonable in pricing. This company ticked all the above boxes. They were very accommodating in booking a free consultation. The technician was prompt and efficient in installing our new bathroom fixtures. I was very pleased with the free quote followed by excellent quality service. I was told by another plumber that in order to install a new tub drain and spout with diverter, the adjacent closet dry wall would need to be broken through to access piping and the repair would be quite costly. Mike and son determined that this was not necessary and completed the repair (plus some additional work under my kitchen sink and new faucet) for a reasonable total. Tony arrived 30 minutes later but this is totally fine. He was busy with another project and needed more time. Fine!I have scheduled an appointment for a Pressure Regulator Valve replacement and a Water Heater replacement. Tony inspected the PRV and was able to fix the old unit at no cost. Most  people would try to sell me a new one so admirations for Tony's honesty!He went ahead and installed a new water heater. Everything is up to code and looks 10 times better than before. Quick response to my call.  Tommy was the technician who came. He was polite, knowledgeable explained our issues to our understanding.  Upon returning the next morning he demonstrated his desire to totally remedy our situation.  He helped with ways to be aware of water leakage as our water bill had been going up and our usage had not changed.
