Stopped here from out of town. Very cool atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoors has games and a fire place you can feed wood in to. Food was perfect and so were the beers. My favorite place in kc and the only place I consistently go-probably every week. Really cool atmosphere - can take people there for a corporate lunch (I have) then be back at night for a more laid back atmosphere. Great beer- brewers that actually care about what they're doing, and awesome food. Ask for Michael at the bar-he will hook you up with the best drinks. Have been here a few times to eat and drink, they brew their own beer which are typically the classic styles most breweries make, nothing crazy. The beer itself is ok, nothing great. If not a beer fan, they also have a large cocktail and wine selection, with lots of seasonal cocktails. The place itself doesn't feel like a brewery however, much more a restaurant. They have a casual laid back atmosphere with a decent amount of indoor seating, but huge outdoor patio. The patio has lots of seating as well various fire pits. They are also a dog friendly place!Prices on the food are pretty standard. Got the burger this time, which comes with fries or baked beans for $13. The burger itself is served with two patties and standard toppings. The flavor of the meat is good, doesn't taste or look like a frozen burger. Would recommend if wanting a burger.Overall this is a great place to come if with a small or large group, lots of options to make everyone happy, and conveniently located to all other places in Crossroads. This is my second time here and dog friendly place, they have water bowl for dogs, meet a cool dog name jacks, the staff is awesome here, nice big patio with shady, inside is seems smaller,my server Lola was very friendly and knowledgeable, this part of the crossroads, menu seems small and really nothing to treat your dog but didn't ask either,lady likes to wonder around but the gate is always open, several couples just luv lady, but who wouldn't for 16 years old dog, why haven't I been coming here more often

Meant to review B.E. a while ago. Really love and miss this place. - Nice beer selection (as you would hope). It's been a few months, but I remember the flight as being pretty darned generous. - The outdoor yard with picnic benches and open fires is really nice. You can spend hours here with a group of friends. I'd take this over the loud P&L bars any day. - They don't have a huge menu, but everything I've gotten (or seen gotten) is great. I love everything about BE. The food is perfection, and I've had so many things there. The half chicken is my hands-down favorite though.
