Home for Christmas and in need of a haircut. The professionals at 18/8 took care of me every step of the way. They checked me in with a choice of beverage - beer for me. We won’t go anywhere else. Amanda is absolutely magic. She cuts my 4yo’s hair and, really, is so great. She is patient and kind. He somehow follows her instructions, so that’s magic in itself and she also does a fabulous job with his hair. Everyone there is nice and professional. We initially went in after another barbershop messed my son’s hair up (the girl who messed it up actually suggested we have 18|8 fix it). Amanda squeezed my son in and did a great job recovering it. My husband freaked when he saw the other shop’s initial cut, but was so pleased to see the end result after 18|8 fixed it. We’ve been back since and it’s been nothing but a pleasure. No one else will be touching his hair! 10/10 reccommend to any male who’s looking for a high end professional salon. It’s worth the drive and certainly worth the money. More...

18|8 is a welcoming and friendly establishment where I was greeted warmingly by the receptionist, as I entered for the first time. Having made an appointment online, my wait time was minimal and pleasant. When my barber/stylist, Torrance, was ready for me, I was escorted to his station while also given a nifty robe to wear during my service. His workmanship and precision as he clipped and buzzed at my hair was a pleasant feeling, as my scalp felt like it was being massaged. I am by no means a egotistical guy who cares about his looks but who cuts your hair isn't something you should trust to just anyone. Who wants a bad haircut? Nobody. Who do I trust? Morgan. Morgan works for 18/8 in Brookhaven. I'm assuming the owners know how much of a treasure they have. It is more like an experience with Morgan than just a haircut. She is personable and genuine. You can get lost in a conversation with her and not worry what she is doing. Mainly because she does know what she is doing. I have no worries with her. She genuinely cares how her clients look. I have lived in the Atlanta area for just over 18 months, and I had yet to find an establishment and stylist that could truly deliver. Â I have tried 5 trendy (and pricey) salons and sat with 7 stylists only to be disappointed more with each visit. Cutting hair is an art form that takes skill, finesse, and a keen eye. I visited this 18|8 for the first time and sat with Morgan. She is a true master of her craft and a true professional. In my opinion, it takes some 2-3 times to get to know you and how to cut your hair before they start to nail it. It Morgan's case, she hit a grand slam her first at bat. I am delighted to have found her, and I am sorely disappointed it took me so long to do so. Wow. What a delightful & unexpected pleasure. My wife bought me a package at this salon for Father's Day - and INSISTED I go. I've never done anything like this before. Man... have I been missing out. My Barber (Zac) was absolutely impressive. He actually listened to me...listened to my ideas...and worked with me. That alone is a first.
