Best MMA gym I have trained at. True MMA gym and not a dojo who just teach mma as a secondary thing to make a buck. SOS is geared towards MMA with strong weapons of Muay Thai, BJJ, Judo, and Wrestling. Putting these together with a great group of instructors can really help in self defense, competition, stress reliever, healthy living and much more.

On the other side, Nate and SOS separate these arts out as well for independent teachings. Maybe you just want to learn stand up or BJJ. You can! But the one price gets all is the way to go. You get to learn all the arts, conditioning, and build another family who you wil rapidly bond with. No egos and everybody there to make each other better attitude is what separates SOS from many other MMA gyms. Not about the money. Much more time is put into everyone than the monthly fee even comes close to covering. I am a SOS fan. Not to mention loyalty from Nate. Hard to find in gyms full of small commitments and half hearted instructors.

I may be at other gyms at times and train places closer to home, but SOS is my home because of the above.

Join and remain honest/loyal then great things happen.

Son of Siam has matspace for all types of people who would like to train in Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and MMA. Whether you're a superathlete or more like Kevin James, Nate Fitch and the other instructors will give you the training and encouragement needed to accomplish your goals. They are patient in teaching and are good with students who are nontraditional learners as well as speakers of foreign languages. Your peers and instructors care just as much about your training as you do and will take the time to help you learn things ranging from a right-cross, to a cross armlock, to the proper way to jump rope. This truly is the best gym in the Cincinnati area. It can be intimidating to walk in to a new gym for the first time, but everyone at SOS goes out of their way to introduce themselves to the newcomers and welcome them to the team. If you are a fellow military veteran, this is the place to train. Nate takes excellent care of us vets, and he and the rest of the coaches have all of the knowledge and expertise you could ask for.
