After working the program with Janet and Yuri I now have a well behaved dog who obeys commands and is much more of a pleasure to walk and take out around other dogs. I took my dog Jimi through 8 weeks of my Dog Rocks, and I have nothing but good things to say. You will experience Brad Pattison's approach, and it is one that encourages consistency and personal discipline. It's a no B.S. approach that I very much appreciated, and I found a great Leader in Diane. My Dog Rocks gave me the tools to train my dog ongoing and keep him and others safe from harm. Diane is one of the more passionate people I have met to date, and I would very much recommend her to anyone with an OPEN MIND who is truly out to LEARN. A lot of people get personal when they are challenged and justify taking the easy route out. Being committed to your animal is not an easy thing. This course is not for anyone who thinks they know it all and it's not for followers who are quick to jump on any Brad-hating bandwagon. This training is for open-minded people willing to invest in their canines, themselves, their friends and their families for a safe, rewarding and happy life with the dog (s). You will not be taught to bribe your dog constantly with treats. You will gain an understanding of what your dog's needs and actions are all about and you will learn how it is that you influence them as the leader. I love teaching people how to communicate effectively with their dogs. When the dog and owner finally establish that moment of communication..that "ah ha!" moment, it's truly amazing!
My family has always had dogs but the first dog that I got on my own was a Bloodhound with severe human aggression. I've been in the shoes of someone who has a dog with severe behavioural problems and it's one of the hardest things to handle.l and work through. I spent thousands on training just to make him manageable and give him a good life. Eventually to further help him I decided to become a trainer myself. He passed away last January from cancer and I miss him every day.
He's always been my inspiration. I decided to start this business to help other owners and their dogs understand each other and grow.
I will always strive to assist you in understanding your dog and understanding the why's and how's of training. I explain everything I'm doing in detail and love helping owners understand how to make their relationship better with their dog.
In person is always preferable but I also offer virtual calls to trouble shoot or walk through problems.
