Met Brenda today to help with multiple different behaviours my dog Rhea has been showing. We were able to finally understand thanks to Brenda that Rhea felt she needed to be alpha and that we needed to regain that status and let Rhea just enjoy being a dog. Brenda Ray is a fantastic people trainer and dog trainer and works MAGIC! I knew Bark Busters would help us with our adult rescue Mastiff. My husband was very skeptical. My husband was over-the-top amazed at the impressive improvement in our dog in ONE day! First of all, Brenda is a wonderful communicator. She discusses your issues with your dog (or your dog's issues with you ... lol!) ; then very clearly and methodically goes through the steps and oh-so-simple commands needed to communicate with your dog. She teaches us to speak in dog language not in English to your dog. And less is better. She also gives you a couple of wonderful little tools to keep and use as needed. Again less is better. Our dog is a 4-year-old Mastiff rescue who was always a very worried dog who had never been in a home environment and never walked on a leash. She helped our family and our sweet dog so much in just ONE day that my dog and I were immediately able to have stress-free walks and he is no longer destructive with "our" things in the house. Of course, it is entirely up to you as a responsible owner to continue using the information and tools that Brenda gives you to be entirely successful in helping your dog improve. What do you love most about your job?
I like to see people enjoying their dogs the way they imagined it would be when they said 'let's get a dog'. Having guests over or having pizza delivered without the dog barking and jumping, going for walks without being pulled down the road or worrying about encountering another dog or person. It's even better seeing the dogs not worrying about these things anymore and living a happier life
What inspired you to start your own business?
Honestly the priority was to do something I was passionate about. Helping dogs have happier lives and as a bonus, their owners are happier too! Being able to set my own calendar is always a benefit of working for yourself :)

The training method really works. It's explained so it's easy to understand and it makes sense. And it works quickly - in hours, not weeks. But to be truly successful, results need to be long lasting. So we provide on-going support free of charge for as long as you own your dog.
