I'm Bec and I am a hair and makeup artist working in weddings and events with over 25 years experience in the industry. I am based in Bentleigh and service the city, SE suburbs of Melbourne and regional (travel fees may apply). My prices are listed in the services tab, therefore I don't respond to requests for quotes. I am known for creating stunning yet natural makeup for my clients along with a beautiful calm experience. I pride myself on catering to my clients specific needs while bringing out their inner goddess. I also do basic hair styling for events and the occasional low-key wedding. My career has seen me travel the world and work with some incredible beauty brands, but nowadays I am happiest working with my clients here in Melbourne helping them get ready for their weddings and events. I have always run my own freelance business and this means I am able to interact directly with my clients from the first enquiry until the day of their service (and often beyond that). I love working with brides and clients attending events as I play a role in helping their vision come to life.
Aside from the fact that I have over two decades in the bridal and events industry, I believe that I create a really special experience when I do makeup and hair. I am confident, calm, personable, open to ideas and reliable.
Yes, I do travel to my clients. Given that this is a luxury service there may be travel fees involved but this all depends on the location. Suburbs in the inner south east of Melbourne do not incur a travel fee.
I also travel to regional areas for larger groups such as weddings.
My kit is sanitised and deep cleaned weekly and my brushes are always clean and disinfected. I apply all of the hygiene practices that are common in the makeup industry and pride myself on always bringing a clean, well stocked, organised kit to jobs.

Gina has done the best job for me on my wedding day. I have only gone for one trial before my wedding that was with Gina, and I didn’t had to think twice before I say yes to her. Bec is absolutely incredible! She is so attentive, is a master of her crafts and made me feel so beautiful on my special day! I was thrilled with both my makeup and hair, which both lasted beautifully and well over the 16 hour mark! I can’t recommend Bec highly enough and will be a returning customer for any special event! 12/10!
