We had the pleasure of welcoming Carla to The Sunny for our staff Breakfast & Learn session, focusing on mental health, emotional wellbeing and practical strategies for managing everyday challenges. Carla delivered an engaging and insightful presentation that struck the perfect balance between sharing valuable information and encouraging staff participation. Her interactive approach created an environment where our team felt comfortable contributing and reflecting on their own experiences. The feedback was excellent, with 100% of respondents rating the session as excellent and confirming they walked away with practical tools they could use. Key takeaways included recognising and managing emotions before ‘flipping the lid’, understanding mental health and the importance of reaching out for support. What stood out was Carla’s ability to make mental health conversations approachable, relatable and relevant to the workplace. Thank you, Carla, for contributing to our team's wellbeing and making our Breakfast & Learn such a positive experience. Jaiden Harding, HR Manager, The Sunny

It was an absolute pleasure having Carla join us for our Women’s Health Day at Moorundi Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. We were pleasantly surprised by how engaged the women were during her session and how comfortable they felt sharing their experiences, including some of the barriers that prevent them from accessing our health centre. The conversations Carla encouraged provided valuable insights into the needs of our community, which we intend to take to management to explore ways we can improve our services. The feedback from the women who attended was overwhelmingly positive. They were very happy with the day and Carla’s presentation. Thank you, Carla, for creating a welcoming and supportive space where our women felt heard, valued and empowered to share their voices. Carla Berbary delivered a powerful and meaningful presentation at our International Women’s Day event. One of the things that really stood out was how she captured the many roles women play in our lives and reminded us that, despite our different journeys, we all share something in common. Her message about women supporting and uplifting one another was incredibly impactful. Carla spoke about the importance of unity and how, when women come together, we become stronger and more powerful. She highlighted that while we may sometimes challenge each other, it often comes from a place of wanting to help one another grow and improve. The key takeaway from Carla’s talk was the importance of taking time to recognise and appreciate one another, because those connections are what make us stronger. It was an inspiring and thought-provoking presentation that resonated with everyone in the room. Maria Limsico, Corporate Affairs Manager, Independent Liquor Group
