I started working as a day labourer when I finished school. At first, it was simply to tide me over. Soon, I realised what goes into every building you pass on the street. After a few years, I began taking on more and more responsibility. From there it was a matter of time before I branched out independently. I’ve learnt that employees respect someone who's done the hard work and got their hands dirty.
We're able to handle nearly every construction project you can think of. We take a lot of pride in craftsmanship, as it gives our customers the best value for money. I’ll never excuse work that’s less than perfect, even if a customer is putting pressure on us to get the job finished ahead of time.
Our company offers mainly homebuilding and renovation services. Recently I’ve taken on more commercial building contractors. People in this line of work tend to think big, so we’ve been able to carry out renovations for whole blocks of flats. I’ve got a Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnical Services, specialising in installations. This means I’m usually the one who’ll fit power systems, lighting, and any fire protection systems.

Just did my renovation with Drako design, Im very impressed with the commitment and dedication from Dan and his team. Dan handled it very well accustoming to our wants and needs. Very impressed with the workmanship and the timeline that was given to us. Dan accommodated to our last minute requests and changes. He is very knowledgeable and always gives us constructive suggestions. He is always contactable making it seamless to work with. What made us choose Drako is because there were no hard selling. We communicated our strict budget from the beginning and we stick to it without compromising quality. Overall, a job well done. Drake really exceeded our expectations.

We did not hire Meek from bark.com. We are a recent customer and we completed our reno in march 2023. Two friends of mine worked with xxxxx for their home reno and both recommended him to me (can't name him as told in the email). Btw I receive no incentive for writing this ah lol, I have already feedback to them that it is kinda stingy not giving me anything for writing review, but if you are looking to find a design and reno firm, you better read this review carefully lol. I can firmly said that they are very hidden, and don't care about reviews because of strong word of mouth (I am the 3rd in the line of referral and I believe many more like us). This is my first home, and I cannot compare with my own experience, but I have heard stories around through news and a few friends as well. If I must pick on something negative, will be the timeline and workers' manners. My project was delayed by 3 weeks so instead of 5 weeks became 8 weeks but it wasn't Meek's fault, and therefore I cannot minus a star from this. Also during the time when I reno, another of my friend tagged along, and subsequently decided to engage another ID firm featured on youtube and endorsed by celeb. and guess what, he spent like 40% more than me, both 4 room hdb, almost similar amount of carpentry, but with the errors meek shared with me and yes I see them in my friend's house during his house warming lol that was epic, because he attended the same consultation as me. I set a budget of 40k and this fellow spent almost 60k and not worth to me at all in terms of the look. I felt lucky to come across Meek, and appreciate xxxxx for his expertise in design and know-how, very handy indeed, will 101% recommend.
