Ortho-Bionomy Therapy
Elicit Health offers Ortho-Bionomy gentle and non-invasive bodywork therapy, where the practitioner works with the client fully clothed, sitting standing or lying down.
The practitioner gently guides various body parts into comfortable positions in order to stimulate a self-corrective reflex in the body.
This reflex is what brings our body back into balance.
This reflex facilitates deeper communication in the body throughout our mini systems and this is the key to health and vitality.
Towards the end of the session the Practitioner may provide the client with self-care techniques so they may continue the reflexive work after and between sessions to continue the releases and to help remind the body of it's new patterns.
After receiving Ortho-Bionomy at Elicit Health, clients report resolution of pain, more freedom in movement, a sence of wellbeing and also of vitality.
Ortho-Bionomy is an Integrative therapy.
It is highly complementary to any other treatments that the client may be receiving such as acupuncture, massage, chiropractic and physiotherapy as well as other medical treatment.
This work does not interfere with any other modalities or treatment protocols.
This work is very safe, even for those people who are highly sensitive or have limitations due to age or illness.
