I started working as a day labourer when I finished school. At first, it was simply to tide me over. Soon, I realised what goes into every building you pass on the street. After a few years, I began taking on more and more responsibility. From there it was a matter of time before I branched out independently. I’ve learnt that employees respect someone who's done the hard work and got their hands dirty.

People in this line of work tend to think big, so we’ve been able to carry out renovations for whole blocks of flats. I’ve got a Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnical Services, specialising in installations. This means I’m usually the one who’ll fit power systems, lighting, and any fire protection systems.

Anthony was very professional from the get-go and explained every step of the process clearly. We were dealing with a structural issue, so it was important for me to feel confident in the work being done, and Anthony's communication throughout was excellent. He was open, honest, and easy to talk to, which made it easy to trust the advice he was giving. Him and his colleague really got stuck in from day one. They worked hard, were very conscious of the rest of the house, and always cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, the whole experience was stress-free and I felt very at ease throughout the project. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Anthony and his team, and I'll definitely be going back to them for any future jobs.
