We truly could not recommend Andrew enough! From start to finish, his communication was 10/10. He was incredibly prepared, understood every cue and detail of our wedding day, and executed everything perfectly.
When it came to the dance floor, he absolutely killed it. We gave him a few inspiration playlists and he completely understood our vibe. We’re much more of a sing-along crowd than a clubbing/EDM crowd, which I honestly think can be harder to continuously get right, but Andrew nailed song after song. The dance floor was exactly what we hoped it would be, and we had so many guests tell us afterward how great the music was.
I’ve worked in events and with many different AV teams and DJs over the years, so I also really appreciated the quality of Andrew’s setup. His equipment is top-notch. Our venue wasn’t necessarily an easy space to cover from a sound perspective, and we literally had guests commenting on how good the sound quality was throughout the night.

What A Night!
Tyco was able to help with any questions that came up from the moment we started discussing the event all the way until the day off.
I booked Tyco as a surprise for my brother & sister-in-law and they were blown away with the evening. It really was the final piece of the puzzle to take what had already been a fantastic day to the next level. The dance floor was packed all night until the last dance. We hired DJ Will Sea for our wedding last summer and he was AMAZING! He is very responsive to emails, which will prove to be very important when it comes down to crunch time (you'll see!). His upbeat and positive demeanor is truly contagious. This DJ knows how to keep the dance floor packed! His music gets the people going. And the best part is, he takes requests!
We approached him about creating a first dance mix for us, for a choreographed dance. Not only did he pull through with flying colours, but he made some really great suggestions on how to make it even better. Thanks to him, we have a memorable (and hilarous) first dance as husband and wife.

The company was founded by a local legend. Valentine started as a teenager playing guitar and played for many years in hotels, banquets, and made his money as a musician. In the late 80s, he started Dj'n. Dubbed (at the time) Vancouvers Best Dj for keeping a dance floor full with always the best dance hits from the 50s to 90s. Valentine was so in demand he decided in 1993 to start Maximum Beat Dj.
