NewSong is the result of a dream to create a safe space for people to step out of their vocal and personal comfort zones to explore and reach their dreams and potential. Both the physical and virtual studio environments have been thoughtfully crafted to serve and support each individual student as a whole person.
At NewSong, my students aren't shaped to fit a particular mold. My goal is to meet my students where they are, to truly listen, and to equip them with a holistic range of skills and resources to help them reach their goals. And, of course, to help them find the joy, freedom and comfort that music brings!
Absolutely! NewSong students learn remotely from London, Ontario all the way to London, UK! All that's needed is a solid internet connection to the tablet/device that works for you, a zoom account and a quiet space for you to sing and explore your voice.
In-person lessons are offered at the studio in Westmount, London (ON), and virtual lessons are always offered, especially in the event of illness. Students are welcome to sing masked and/or request that the teacher be masked during the lesson for their comfort.
