The idea for YELLOW Studios came about after the passing of my father in 2020. My whole life I've loved to help people. I've spent years helping others plan events, pop up shops, photoshoots, video shoots, casting calls and so much more completely free of charge.
Despite all the creative work and networking, I'd done over the years, I had nothing to show for it when it came to my parents. I realized that I'd been living my life in the shadow of others and not putting myself at the forefront of my priorities.
YELLOW, an acronym for "you're either living life or watching", came to me as I was going through one of the darkest phases of my life. I was internally conflicted about whether I should continue the creative work I had been doing over the years, or whether I should just stick to my day job that makes me money. That's when I realized that I didn't need to completely stop helping others to focus on myself. On the contrary, I learned that I could help more people with YELLOW Studios
