Heel veel inzicht gekregen in de gedragingen van onze hond Sjoefke en vooral wat ons aandeel hierin was. Wandelingen zijn inmiddels veel relaxer met een losse riem in plaats van dat Sjoefke mij voorruit trek of niet verder wil lopen. Ook kon hij erg reactief reageren op andere honden. Er is deskundig ingezet op het vergroten en verstevigen van mijn rol als baasje. Hierdoor hebben we wederzijds vertrouwen opgebouwd. Wat ik nooit heb kunnen geloven maar wat toch gebeurd is, is dat ik hem zelfs los heb durven laten lopen in een omheind bosterrein. Zeer tevreden en dankbaar voor de waardevolle trainingen.

Working with owners and their dog(s) to make their house a happier place. I do this by giving the owner tools to work with giving the dog(s) boundaries and skills to do by using the LIMA (least invasive, minimally aversive) training techniques by reinforcing good behaviours and ignoring the bad behaviours.
The most obvious reason is that I love dogs. But the more important reason was that I had a German Shepherd mix named Brock, that I rescue at 3 mths old and he was reactive to everything. I wanted to learn how to better his life by making him the best dog ever. I learned through trial and error and if I’d known what I know now, then I would’ve had the best dog ever. Now all I want to do is help other people have their best dog ever.
I’m a certified dog trainer who loves dogs, but I also know how to communicate with people. I have a passion for helping owners communicate and understand their dogs and what their dogs needs are.
