Amazing training and results! Our little wiggle butt aka "Crazy Sonya" made tremendous results in such a short period of time at her board and train. She is so much more in control of her energy and reactions. She wants to listen and walking is a delight without the pulling, barking and excitement. She is still full of personality and a delightful little corgi, but more in control. The training has been great both for Sonya and ourselves. We just completed 7 weeks of obedience training with Laura and her team and couldn’t be more thrilled with our pups progress. Our sweet girl Cambie is 6 months old today and has learned so much from her time at Polite Paws, we know she is a happier pup because of it. We are thrilled that we will not have to worry about her behaviour when we take her out in public or have guests in our house. We adopted a Belgian Shephard with no idea of his background and brought him to classes with Laura in the spring. Laura took so much time to help us better understand our dog and how to train all his boundless bouncing energy. He's a more confident yet respectful dog now and we have the knowledge in how to continue on his training journey as he matures. We brought Cooper, our pitbull mix, to Laura while my husband and I were away. Some of the best money we've ever spent! She went above and beyond for both us and our pup! Before his stay with Laura, Cooper was dog aggressive (we thought) - it was so hard to walk him even near another dog without him lunging and barking and choking himself on his collar. Of course, this would also make the other dog owner nervous, and even sometimes mad at us, due to his breed (the prejudice is very real). A few days into our vacation, Laura posted pictures of Cooper to her site and he was walking and sitting with other dogs! We were and still are convinced that she is a miracle worker with dogs! She also assured us that Cooper is not actually aggressive, just overstimulated, which made us much less nervous to walk him with other dogs. We even got him and my parent's neurotic little Jack Russell who is terrified of Cooper to walk and sniff around together with no problems! My husband, Cooper and I are all much more confident on our walks now and Cooper is able to feel more like a dog and socialize a bit! We are so happy we brought our dog to Laura! She is completely worth any money you may spend! More...

Oscar was terrified of everything, especially peoples, dogs and cars. After a week at polite paws he now loves to play with dogs and is interested in people. We even had success driving short distances without him vomiting from stress! Amazing work and all achieved in 7 days!!!! More...

We brought our ten month old border collie mix puppy to polite paws for the board and train. We are very impressed with the results. Our dog now has a great obedience foundation to work with, he is calmer, walks better, more attentive, and just more enjoyable. He used to dart out all open door ways and now he waits until we command him. The instruction and material that Laura gave us after picking up our dog was great and has been very helpful.
