I have been thankful for the lessons that Lisa has been giving my 13 year old daughter this year. My daughter has had other vocal coaches, however, Lisa is next level in so many ways. I have seen my daughters voice and confidence develop significantly within the 6 months she has been attending LLB. The Vocal Staws and the methodology that Lisa uses have been a game changer. Also, it is the other lessons in taking care of yourself physically and emotionally which have been another significant change I have seen. My daughter has been able to confide in Lisa and Lisa has built a lot of trust. What do you love most about your job?
I love adding value to your world. From the physical, through the meta-physical to the spiritual, I am your one-stop vocal shop. If your words and your voice are important you then we are a perfect match because I believe you deserve to be heard.
Throughout my journey I have transitioned from an opera singer, 2 x time cancer survivor, to sought-after elite coach and now to expert mentor helping corporate leaders confidently speak in a way that supports their reputation and adds value to every conversation.
In addition, I am a Keynote Speaker, Singing Teacher, National Adjudicator, ACCF Ambassador, Certified Deepak Chopra Practitioner, Mother, Wife and Community Leader who runs her own business.
In short, I believe I represent a rare blend of real-life talent, training, resilience, intuition and heartfelt leadership combined with the ability to communicate my experience across a broad spectrum of private coaching, media, stage and audiences.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After surviving two different forms of cancer by the time I was 34 years of age, I was inadvertently told to give up my dream of becoming an opera diva. The 6 months chemotherapy, two periods of intense radiotherapy, baring two healthy children, plus having a bout of pancreatitis, had paid its toll and my body could not endure any more disease/treatment and there was nothing more they could do for me. At the time my 2.5 and 4-year-old needed a mother, and I made the agreement with myself that I would do whatever it took to survive, and I did!. Now with 25 + years of training in the physical voice and 20 years of experience identifying my internal voice, the very thing that kept me alive, I use these skills as my inspiration to developing the next level of Elite Performers.

Groups Singing Lessons
Our broader syllabus is broken into industry genres that cover the well known standards: Disney, Broadway, Pop, Lyrical, Glee Club and Jazz. While our Academy Syllabus is designed to help our young artist to adapt and prepare for their industry demands.

The classes are divided into three age groups - songbirds, crooners, and young artists.

Glee Club
The glee club idea originated in the United States and is usually made up of a mixed musical group or choir that specialise in singing short, harmonised songs - glees - by trio or quartet.
The PS: Glee Club is an opportunity for you to elevate your skills to the next level. With a syllabus that is focused on songs that are broken into 3 & 4 part harmony, this class also works on more complex rhythms, stagecraft techniques, delivery and overall showmanship.
Meditation
It is an undeniable fact that during most of our waking life, we are stuck in our heads, engaged in a constant internal dialogue in which the meaning and emotional associations of one thought trigger the next. We smell a familiar scent and suddenly we’re thinking about the first time we met an old boyfriend or girlfriend and how that relationship ended. If we’re still holding emotional pain over that ending, those feelings may pop up and then our mind may go into mental chaos with criticism, self-pity or worries about the future.
Every day our mind creates incessant stories about our weight, money, health, profile, loved ones and our future. Most of the time we’re not even conscious of this internal banter that is plaguing our mind and yet it is the greatest source of stress in our lives.
It’s true that our minds can create spectacular and positive stories, but it also has what neuroscientists call negative bias: a tendency to pay more attention to negative experiences than to positive ones. This pattern of behaviour has evolved as a survival mechanism over millions of years. Our ancestors always focused their attention on avoiding being eaten by sabre-tooth tigers, they didn’t have the luxury of relaxing to enjoy the sunset with a glass of Pino. This would have been a total waste of their precious energy reserves, not to mention a possible death wish. Those who survived passed on the gene that pays extra attention to danger. Their legacy is a brain that is somewhat obsessed with negative experiences and has an override function that forces us to get stuck in conditioned patterns of thinking, returning again and again to thoughts of anxiety, depression, and limitation.
