When embarking on a new project, it's essential to understand the client's vision thoroughly. I often ask about their desired style, the specifics of the event or session, preferred date and location, and any personal inspirations they might have. It's also important to know the mood they wish to convey, any specific shots or poses they want, and if there are any must-have moments they'd like captured.
What do you love most about your job?
Photography, for me, is more than just a job; it's a passion. I cherish the opportunity to encapsulate fleeting moments, emotions, and narratives in a timeless frame. The sheer joy and gratitude on a client's face when they see their memories translated into photographs is incomparable. Safety has been paramount, especially in these times. I've taken measures like ensuring all equipment is sanitised before and after shoots, maintaining required social distancing during sessions, and limiting the number of people on set. Additionally, for initial consultations and planning discussions, I offer virtual meetings to reduce any unnecessary contact.
