What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to taking a great photograph comes down to Experience. Expert technical knowledge is important but being present in the moment and anticipating that golden shot requires practice and the determination to achieve the best possible photo every single time no matter ehat thr occasion is.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The first question I ask is what do you require. If they aren’t sure then I can offer guidance. The next question I ask is what their anticipated spend looks like. My aim is to save the money but also deliver realistic output within their budget constraints.
What do you love most about your job?
taking photos is rewarding for what I enjoy most other people that I meet and the places that Photography takes me. I only get to view, observe and capture life’s moments but I get to experience all walks of life and different skill levels. it is the emotional connection that people have to the moments that I capture that make this job so important to me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
starting my own business was a result of a motorcycle accident several decades ago. The injuries came with challenges and I Rose to them by creating my own business and doing something that I love. 20 years on and I still love it and don’t regret a minute. It’s a shame that it took a terrible situation like this, to bring me where I am today. That’s life I guess.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Photography isn’t something that I can provide remotely, but I’m also a Photography trainer and can happily do this online. The pre-and Post production can be done which is a standard practice.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Since the pandemic very little has changed other than if either of us are unwell we reschedule the photo shoot. Life is too short to let procedures get in the way but every precaution is taken to ensure that all parties involved are not put at risk.
