HOW WE WORK
From consult to quote, souring items to then styling them in your home, the Laidback Lee service takes all the hard work out of the equation for you. Our services are tailored to your individual needs and unique style.
We get to know our clients, have them fill out a brief questionnaire and share their favourite pinterest images/ boards or any inspiration to work from.
We put together mood boards and presentations, we design rooms and put together schedules based on every element in the design. We offer assistance every step of the way and assist with the ordering/ procurement and installation!
We are hands on, we work hard + love seeing spaces transform!

We are a very unique team made up of individual designers.
Are ethos is to create spaces that are sophisticated, while being 'laidback' and easy to relax and live + work in.
We offer every style and add our signature attention to detail with mix materials and gorgeous finish!
What do you love most about your job?
As a creative person, my whole life has included visualisation, communicating with people and challenging thinking. As an interior designer and business owner, i wear many hats, however the true passion is getting to know clients, picking items and designing a space for them that will change their lives + the way that they interact with the space they inhabit!
I love finding amazing pieces and putting together meaningful rooms.

We offer design services remotely for clients who aren't in the same state as our Sydney Studio.
After eight years in commercial and residential firms, Laidback Lee Design was born with the intention of creating a fresh and approachable end-to-end design firm.
Our ethos is based on integrity and high quality results. I work closely with clients to design spaces specifically for them, that exceed their expectations.
We are lucky to have a phenomenal team working with us on every project, and our suppliers and tradespeople are second to none.
We approach each project individually, to deliver a truly bespoke result every time.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
At Laidback Lee Design, we are making sure to strive to a smaller carbon foot print every step of the way. Our environmental impact is at the forefront of our decision making as a business and something that every team member is conscious of.
With conscious consumerism at the forefront, we have been taking active steps towards sustainability, including: researching and sourcing environmentally friendly packaging materials, reducing our overall use of plastic and implementing sustainable practices within our business and supply chain. We may not be perfect, and there is still room for improvement, but we value our planet and are committed to contributing to a better future. We look forward to sharing this journey with you.

Our mission is to create fashion garments out of premium fabrics and with the best craftsmanship possible. We work closely with our local and international teams in the production line to ensure the quality is never lost and to ensure that our striking designs are handmade to optimal quality.
• Compostable Material and Recycling of Materials:
Compostable materials are an important part of our journey towards reducing our carbon footprint and contributing to a sustainable future. Orders are shipped in our compostable mailing satchels. In our efforts to be a more sustainable brand, we are taking steps to ensure that our packaging is recyclable, reusable or compostable. We also reuse some materials that we receive from third-parties to package items as long as they are clean and ready to be wrapped around your gorgeous garments.
• Minimal Waste Studio:
As a team of young professionals as well as super- uber, creative people... we are working closely with our international and local makers to ensure that the supply chain caters for all cut offs and waste to be repurposed.
• Conscious and Clean HQ:
At HQ we aim to reduce wastage, reuse and recycle goods whenever we can. We are all now equipped with eco-friendly reusable coffee cups and non-plastic cups and cutlery in our meeting rooms. We are doing our best to ensure that everything in high rotation and use is significantly reducing our carbon footprint... one coffee at a time!
• Fair Working Conditions:
We are speaking with our international and local teams of manufacturers on daily basis to ensure the working conditions and the ethics of our company are met.
We are a team of happy and healthy people and make sure that the entire team close and far are all looked after!
• COVID-19: We are as committed as ever to ensure that our customers receiving goods feel safe and worry free when opening up a packages and items from around the world and from HQ. We are practicing safe methods of practice on our end. Our team is frequently sanitising items and each item is wiped down with antibacterial cloths before sent.

2 HOUR PACKAGE.
Our ‘Design and Style Session’ is the perfect opportunity for you to spend two full hours with our creative Director Stephanie Ferrara. It’s a chance to really pick her brains about how to best use your space. This is your moment to ask any questions you have about things like spacial planning, finishes, colours, window furnishings or furniture and styling.
This is a room by room package.
10 HOUR PACKAGE.
Like other designers we have a thorough client discovery phase where we learn all about you, your needs, your likes and dislikes. Our point of difference is our intuitive ideas which help us take your home (or space) to an exceptional level. Our goal is to give you a space that is better than anything you could ever have imagined or dreamed.We specialise in creating custom interiors, bespoke furniture and furnishings so you know your space will be both beautiful and, one of a kind. Anyone can purchase a piece of furniture or a tile from a store, so our clients come to us to give them that something extra special. This is a multiple room package.
20 HOUR PACKAGE.
As a full-service design and decoration studio there is nothing for you to worry about as we take care of everything for you. From the moment you decide to build or renovate we will support you through each step of the design and decoration process giving you confidence in your decisions.
This involves multiple spaces, both internal and external areas.
E- Design
Whether you are 10kms away, or 10000kms away, we are here to service all of your design needs.
With years of experience and hundreds of trades, we will be more than ready to create amazing spaces for you, tick off all of your needs and exceed all expectations.

This is an affordable 100% online interior design service where we are completely guided by your needs. You give us the information we need about your home, your budget, your lifestyle and personal style then we will do the rest. You get the expertise of a professional Interior Designer without us even stepping foot into your home.
Whether its selecting finishes or paint colours, planning and layouts for your room or, selecting the perfect furnishing pieces for your space. For your space, we can tailor a package to your specific design needs, taste and of course budget.
Our ‘E Design’ packages are ideal for DIY enthusiasts:
With smaller projects i.e. 1-2 rooms only with standard shaped rooms
Who need some extra help but are happy to do all the legwork and implement our design’s

This package allows us to customise your package to your needs. This includes a complimentary initial meeting and we work off an hourly basis with a minimum number of hours in order to achieve each milestone from construction to final touches in the design process. This package also includes a complimentary photographer to shoot the property once complete, provides access to your head designer's contact number and will provide round the clock support along the way to answer any questions that arise.
