I engaged Joanna to get some photos for my website for my coaching business. I hardly ever get my photo taken personally but knew I needed to get it done for my business.

Joanna instantly made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera and it really shows in the images.

She asked me in the consult session what outcome I wanted and I said it was really important the images didn't look cheesy or cliche or "not me". Joanna really listened in that respect which I so appreciate and I certainly got what I asked for.

During the shoot I could see how much she loves what she does, she's so passionate and with her outgoing and bubbly personality it was impossible NOT to feel confident in front of the camera and as a result I am so happy with my images.

She's definitely a perfectionist with excellent attention to detail too.

I would 100% recommend Joanna for branding and website images and have complete trust in her for any other photography needs (I used her for my newborn photos which is worthy of another 5 star review 😄). More...

Not only did Jo create gorgeous, beautifully framed pictures for us to cherish, she did so with only gentle prompts and captured real natural moments between us.
Jo was a pleasure to deal with from our first email and incredibly helpful with guiding our choice of location, timing of the shoots and even our outfits.
She was absolutely brilliant with our newborn baby, keeping him calm and sleepy and skillfully managed to make our home look very photogenic!

Joanna was extremely easy to work with and very accommodating to our busy family schedules. She was quick to discover what we liked and what things work and not work for us. Her easygoing nature put everyone at ease and she was able to get some incredible shots of our family (with three boys, not an easy ask!) in a record amount of time. Thank goodness I found Jo! While being based in Sydney, I needed a photographer for a Brisbane store opening and she helped me really understand what the area was like around the store to figure out when would be the best time for her to arrive. She even offered to scout around the area first to get familiar. I only needed her for an hour but she was an amazing photographer who put in the time to get a clear understanding of my brief and even generously did some extra work to help get the job done. We absolutely loved our photoshoot experience with Jo. From the moment we arrived at her studio she greeted us at the car to introduce herself and help us inside with our newborn and toddler. Her communication in the lead up to and following the shoot was excellent and she is brilliant with little kids, making our son feel instantly comfortable and knowing how to get the best out of him for our photo session. She was also beautiful with our newborn daughter. She is genuine, down to earth, warm, inviting and talented - we loved the bright natural images she captured of our family. Joanna has been photographing my children and I and my parents over the last 10 years. I hate photos and yet every time, she makes all of us feel relaxed. The experience is fun and just so easy to be around her and all of our photos are just amazing, she certainly goes the extra mile. We had some family photos done by Jo and we are so grateful! Jo was amazing. Our photo shoot with Joanna was exceptional! Very quickly, we were at ease and having fun as Joanna worked her magic with the camera and captured moments that are now very special memories to be looked at and loved.
