What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Composition and lighting is the secret to taking great photographs. Good composition and lighting skills can make your images pop and leave with you an emotional connection with the image.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The scope of the project is they key information needed. This let's us determine how much time and equipment will be needed to produce the work. That will then allow us to quote the project properly. If you have a budget intended for the project, it's best to discuss that upfront so we can work out if the time needed to do the work is in line with your budget.
What do you love most about your job?
I love creating great photos and videos that people love! I'm motivated by the connection I make with my clients and working with them to help them bring their idea's to life on the screen. It's that connection I get the most out of and that I believe helps me create video that people love every time :)
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my business in 2004 when I felt I could offer a great service to clients with video production. At the time the landscape was a bit different to now with much larger equipment and much more of it. But the essence was the same. Building on great ideas and using our craft to bring them to life on screen.
Why should our clients choose you?
I believe I can offer a service to my clients that they will love. From day one working with them I work hard to bring their ideas to life through solid concepts and ideas. I then use my 16 years experience to craft those ideas onto the screen and I truly believe clients will love the results.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I can provide my services online and remotely if required. If they have previously filmed content or have stills, I can work with those online to deliver a great video for them without ever meeting in person. If they require a film crew in another location in the country or around the world, I have access to a network of crew that can attend the shoot and send me the footage for post production.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
On set and in meetings we assess the situation and abide by all Government requirements set out at the time. We make sure physical distancing is maintained and provide masks and hand sanitisers. We check government websites in the state we are filming in and if the area we are visiting is on a hot zone or watch list we take head of the advice being given for that location at that time.
Promotion Video Production
We can provide everything needed from concept to screen. This includes:
- Concept and visualisation
- Script writing
- Storyboards
- Filming with 6K cameras, audio and professional lighting
- Post production including editing, motion graphics, colour grading and mastering to vertical or horizontal video formats
Location Filming
We have an extensive range of equipment at our disposal starting the basic kit consisting of 2 Blackmagic Design 6K cameras, radio mics and host of lighting options to suit every shoots needs.
We can also supply specialty equipment like gimbals, sliders and drones as each project and creative requires.
Editing and Motion Graphics
Our editors are very experienced in taking the creative brief or even just footage captured on the fly and turning it into engaging video content with music, voice over and great timing to make your video stand out from the crowd.
Our motion graphics artists take your project to the next level with sophisticated graphics that help you message jump off the screen. And with today's mixed media, graphics are essential to get the cut through you need for your promotional videos.
