Having been a psychologist for some time, I came to appreciate the importance of being flexible with client needs. I was not always able to provide such flexibility in private practice as an employee.

I’m Luke, director of Explore Psychology and principal psychologist. My goal is to provide clients with a supportive, non-judgmental and welcoming space in which we can work together. I know it can sometimes be a difficult decision to reach out for support but, collaboratively, we can explore and develop a better understanding of the difficulties you’re facing, and establish helpful strategies in a safe, supportive way that is evidence-based and tailored to your individual needs.

I am particularly interested in working with young and older adults, providing support for alcohol- and other drug-related problems, relationship issues, men’s health, depression, anxiety and trauma. I’m passionate about helping others explore, and get to the bottom of why their emotional and psychological wellbeing is challenged in a way that is specific to their needs, and culturally appropriate. I’m an experienced mindfulness, ACT- and CBT-based therapist.

I have moved to exclusively Telehealth-based consultations in light of covid and practice restrictions.
