Andrea’s photos are fantastic! I asked her to do some family photographs and didn’t make it easy by asking them to be at the beach including the family dog! We couldn’t be happier with the results! She captured the true nature of family members and our relationships, and they look natural and a beautiful collection of pictures of all of us. I recently had a photography session with Andrea, who took artist portraits plus photos of my weavings on location in my studio. I am quite awkward in front of the camera and Andrea was fantastic as she was able to direct me in complimentary ways to stand and position myself for the portrait photographs. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Understanding my clients needs, working together with my clients (remotely or in person) to create the images they require for their business, understanding lighting, attention to detail.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
1. Describe me your product/people/thing or event you need photographed?
2. What will the images be used for?
3. What is the look/feel of the images you are after?
4. When do you need the images by?
5. Do you require any particular Photoshop work, selections, background removal, file sizes, etc?
What do you love most about your job?
Getting to meet amazing people doing incredible things in their businesses and creating some fantastic products.
Creating images that will showcase all these things and have clients come back to me time and time again.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I come from a family of business owners. I am used to working hard to build up my business. It is something I can build around my family. I love being on the move, being flexible and meeting other creative business owners.
