Stage 1. Site Analysis and Engagement
To establish strong foundations from the outset, our Initial Engagement Fee secures your spot on our busy calendar, allowing us to make it our engagement official and prioritise onboarding your project. We begin by engaging the required consultants and performing necessary due diligence to determine the best possible pathway and outcome for your project..
Stage 2. Concept Design
At Studio 72, we bring your vision to life through a refined concept design process, built on the foundations of stage 1. Site Feasibility & Engagement. We translate your ideas into a comprehensive design that aligns with your brief, budget, and lifestyle. Using detailed 3D modelling, we help you visualise your future home while ensuring compliance with all planning requirements.
Stage 3. Building Approval Drawings
During this stage, we advance from Concept Design Drawings to creating Development Application (DA) / Complying Development Certificate (CDC) Drawings (or Approval Drawings). This step is crucial for translating the initial design concept into a practical and compliant submission package. We coordinate closely with consultants identified by Town Planners to compile Approval Documentation efficiently.
Stage 4. Lodgement and Approval
At Studio 72 Design, we understand that navigating the approvals process can be one of the most challenging aspects of any project. We take the hassle out of planning approvals by exploring all available avenues, from Development Applications (DA) through Council to the Complying Development Certificate (CDC) with Private Certifiers, or even a combination of both pathways.
Stage 5. Tender Documentation
After obtaining development approval and addressing any conditions from the council, the next step involves updating the drawings to meet regulatory requirements.
Subsequently, Detailed Construction Certificate (CC) drawings are prepared, including detailed plans with dimensions, framing specifics for doors and windows, floor slab layout, plumbing arrangement, construction sections, and electrical layout. These comprehensive drawings serve as the blueprint for the construction phase.
