We had the best experience with pioneer, My 11 year old daughter had always struggled with english and literacy, affecting her wanting to go to school, we went through the pioneer process and she got link with Tash! My eldest son had now completed a full year of tutoring and we are really proud and thankful for how far he has improved his skills thanks to pioneers tutoring. We were really concerned about his final year in primary school and not being able to access further support from his current school to help him further. Our son was really behind and struggling. My son who is 8 years old and dyslexic who’s recently been diagnosed ADHD, really loved books being read to him but as he started school and began reading and writing, encouraging him to read or write became a struggle and he would get frustrated, losing the enjoyment and excitement that reading brings, his teachers would tell me how he would lose focus in class and get frustrated when trying to complete his literacy tasks. we joined Pioneers tutoring and the improvement is outstanding his teachers have expressed that his more focused and that his writing has improved a lot, And now when reading books at bed time, his reading them to us! We can’t express enough how grateful we are to Tammy who’s been our son’s tutor, her support, patience and being able to get our son to refocus back on the task calmly has really made our experience enjoyable and made learning fun, for our son. Absolutely love this program Our son was doing standard tutoring with no progression, through his frustration and the school’s I took it upon and sort for a different approach. We stumbled upon Pioneer and even though our son has no learning disabilities we found it caters for all. Our son was lucky to be paired with Sofia and she’s been amazing!! She has worked wonders for our son. How she engages the kids and makes it a fun and positive lesson is amazing. With Sofia he really wants to try and he actually looks forward to his lessons. Our son says he enjoys it more than his school tutoring and wishes Sofia could come to school, so sweet!!. In 2021, during COVID and home learning, my son was rapidly falling behind. I remember feeling lost and unsure about how to assist his development. I came across Pioneers and submitted an inquiry that afternoon. To my surprise, Alicia called me back after business hours, and we had a long conversation about how they could help my son. By the end of that call, I felt a sense of relief, as Alicia was extremely supportive and understanding. Her reassurance made me confident that Pioneers could help my son, and it was because of her that I decided to move forward with their services. A huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Over the years, my son has worked with numerous support specialists on a weekly basis. Every one of them has been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated, always adapting the program to meet his needs. Thanks to their consistent care, my son’s development has improved significantly. Now, in 2024, he is performing “at standard” in all his subjects and is about to begin his high school journey. Tony has been a great help to my 6 year old. He has gained more confidence in himself talking more clearly and engaging in his lessons as well as at school. He has a good understanding of what is being asked of him and is happy to get involved with his tasks. He has come a long way since his first lesson when he wouldn’t talk or be seen on screen. My daughter is 10 who is also hearing impaired and has been with Pioneer Tutoring for about 2 years. I highly recommend Pioneer tutoring the tutor that we have we absolutely love her to bits her name is Natasha (Tash for short). Our daughter has come a really long way with her reading, speaking etc! My little boy has ADHD and ASD and has been seeing Tash for his English lessons on a weekly basis. He really enjoys his class and likes to do the extra activities on StudyLadder. He doesn’t always keep still for online classes but somehow is engaged with the Pioneer tutoring classes and always looks forward to learning. Tash is lovely and is very patient with him. My daughter 10 who has ASD, ADHD and dyslexia has been working with Sofia for 3 months now has shown a massive improvement with her phonics, reading and spelling. My son joined Pioneers Tutoring in 2018, when he was in Primary School. He was tutored by Gabby and very quickly, started excelling in school due to her tailored and practical approach to tutoring. My son continued tutoring with Pioneers (Alicia & Tash) and although in Year 8, he has the competency of a Year 9 student today! I rate the Pioneers Team 20 out of 10 for 3 simple steps. 1.
