Providers don't update their profile regularly enough, some don't even bother to respond. Would like to see more diversity, for example, in regional locations, the providers are trained nurses willing do to some housework, I'd like to see providers JUST providing gardening services, JUST doing cleaning, JUST doing pool service, JUST doing maintenance.

Mable was excellent for both workers and clients in the disability industry. However, to succeed using Mable you must treat the assignments as your business and not rely on Mable to hand you work on a plate. You choose your clients and it is your responsibility to choose the best match for you. It is not the job of Mable to look for work for you, nor is it its job to do the associated paperwork Having previously spent a number of years working as an employee in this industry I was appalled at how most organizations treat workers and clients as mere pawns that they move around to suit their own purposes. There was little or no consultation with workers or clients who would be the right fit for the job; the best jobs go to the supervisor's favourites irrespective of the clients' wishes. As a support worker who has clocked up many hours on Mable in a very short time let me share a secret of success with you - Work out what your strengths and weaknesses are and only choose the client who you genuinely believe you could improve the quality of life by working with them. I interviewed 2 ladies with my mother and in the end the second lady was available to start asap, next day… Would have no problem recommending this company for workers. I have found Mable useful in that I get 1. To choose whom I interview 2. Choose who I engage to help and invite into my home. I find the variety of people quite stimulating. I’ve also appreciated the helpful advise I’ve received from the onboarding specialist. However, it is rather daunting to have to do everything on the computer and not face to face. I had with HomeMade a virtual meeting by video. That was helpful and I would suggest incorporating that in the mix. Another problem I found was getting used to Calendly for appointments. They use Est and Greenich time. I got quite confused and missed my first appointment. I must say that once I’d explained my problem Mables appointment reminders did so in Adelaide time. I am new to mable, at start it looks promising until I spoke with one of their support specialist rep (Initial M) who treated me like a 5 years old, he said “listen” for more than 20 times when he talks so I asked him why does he has to ask me to listen while I was already listening to him and he just said that’s the way he speak! Very disrespectful. He also promised me to send his contact and the answer to some of my unanswered queries but nothing happened, very poor customer service. Customer services does not reply to emails and are abrupt on the phone when you ring. Most of the staff have no training or knowledge to help people with disabilities but choose to charge a massive price for basic services. Negotiate a price as most of them come with a know it all attitude and then dont do what you want them to do. I found them very shifty in trying to get more hours. I've met three workers from mable and I could do better on my own. LAC from there, never speaks to me or returns my mail. The first worker spoke to me like a child and was all over the road . This last lady i met recently, can't have a conversation, remember what day it is, or make an appointment thatsuits me. I'm an ex addict and know when I'm speaking to someone, over affected, by "pharmaceuticals" I'm not the only one who has noticed the addiction issue with mornington office. Great service. Being able to self manage Aged Care funding gives us total flexibility as to our support needs. We chose exactly who, what, and when according to our personal needs. There is also more money available for support, as not so much goes into administration. I personally did not want to be locked into working with one individual provider, with all their co-payment requirements, little control over who turns up, and all the red tape. Unprofessional, unreliable and discriminating. I had a meet and greet with a support worker and everything went well, we even booked in for an appointment for the following week. However, she cancelled at the last minute and decided that she no longer wanted to work with me based on my vaccination status. I find this to be very discriminating. You are still able to catch and spread Covid being fully vaccinated. They also pick and choose which reviews are allowed for each support worker, if for any reason they don’t like your review they will make excuse’s saying that your review may be “inappropriate or inaccurate” even if there is nothing inappropriate or inaccurate on your review. They will not post my honest review for a support worker for some reason. Makes you wonder if they only choose to put up positive reviews up for each support worker. The whole point of a review is to let other people know your experience, whether good or bad. I have emailed them and asked them why they will not post my review, they have completely ignored me. Edit: it doesn’t make sense that my review won’t go through, as I have not said anything that is inappropriate or inaccurate. The proof is all in the messages sent between the support worker and I. I'm a support worker, Mable are totally incompetent and unprofessional to try and work with, i waited for 3 weeks didn't hear back then i email them and I'm told they are waiting on my police cert, why didn't anyone tell me, we are short of workers and they never got back to me, the person i was chatting with had no idea, very poor communication and very unprofessional. I payed $190 for virus training and did the required training with the NDIS. Apparently I am not working because there's no suitable work in area. Mable wrote to me to suggest I download the flyers from their site to advertise in my area. Mable advertised the job on Indeed. That's why I applied to them. I suspect that they are bordering on fraud. You could and should have replied to my justifiable complaint here, rather than redirecting me to your complaints department. Mable makes it so easy to find exactly the supports that you need. It’s amazing how quickly the responses to a posted ad come through. Then it’s just a matter of reading through the MANY responses and checking out profiles of the ones that appear most relevant, a few meet and greets and you’re on your way. It takes a lot of stress away and ensures you find the right person for you. Also, if you have any issues, help is only an email away. I’ve been with Mable for over a year and a half now. At first it was great as clients and workers can choose their own carers etc. I have 2 clients on Mable but the problems started when they voided a couple of timesheets because they said I had an agreement that was over the maximum rate. Lisa and I had agreed to these rates because I have a number of skills that are very useful to her. Upon changing our rates on my laptop as for some reason doing it via the app it didn’t transfer to the account I have not received a payment from them for over 2 months from Lisa. I was getting payments from my other client but I just went in today to create a time sheet and I can’t even do that now. I have rung 4 weeks in a row and was told to answer an email sent in January which I did and then it told me to reset my password via an email sent to me which never showed up. Each time I ring I’m waiting at least half an hour and 3 times now the lines been disconnected mid call. All because of a glitch in their system which they blame on everything but themselves.
