What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Being able to "see" your client or the subject of the task, and understand how to photograph the best aspects, see angles, lighting and feel the space that you're in, in line with the brief you're aiming to succeed in capturing. You need to be able to connect with the emotion of the task as well as the physical space you're capturing.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What kind of feeling are you looking to express to your audience? Is there a particular side of you / the project that you are wanting to put forward more strongly than the little things? What do you consider to be the little things? Who is the audience you're trying to capture (family, selling, dating, business, etc)?
What do you love most about your job?
The reward of hearing clients tell me that I made them feel completely comfortable and that the shoot outcome well exceeded their expectations. A favourite "Oh wow - I love these! I never look good in photos!" or "You've made our business look amazing!"
What inspired you to start your own business?
Love of photography since childhood and realising in my adult life that I was actually, really, naturally good at it and people were always telling me they loved my work.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I've never had a client who's been dissatisfied either with their experience with me, or the outcome of my shoot for them! I take pride in dedicating mindful time to understanding the client and their brief, recognizing this as the crucial foundation for achieving the best outcomes. That depends on the task. The photography needs to be on location of course, but all other work such as editing and content creation, graphic design and so on, can be done online.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Wearing of masks, no touching and regular cleaning of my studio with antibacterial products.

A published photographer several times over, I'm experienced in all types of photography and video and can send you samples relevant to your job request. I have also exhibited work as an invited artist to several exhibitions across Australia.
Retouching
Having spent 3 years solely as a retoucher for National Magazines across Australia and using only WACOM graphics pen and tablet to ensure you the finest, highest quality work, my skill set here is second to none and learnt before the days of AI. Samples available (before and afters) on request.
Content Creation & Graphics
I have been a graphic designer in Media, Marketing and Advertising including as the lead Marketing Designer and Art Director for newspapers, national and international magazines, creating content from photography work including extended graphics for full campaigns and branding.

I can work from your logo creation, to your video and photography, to end design pieces to be used in social media, advertising and any other promotional options you may require to launch from scratch, or just expand/improve on what you already have in place with your business.
