Writing this review as a client and tutor with FSE. I started with FSE for my son about three years ago. I was impressed with Janelle who brought a whole new dimension to my son’s education. His confidence level has soared with the results he’s achieved.
I am now fortunate to work as a tutor with FSE myself. My experience and mentoring from FSE has been so rewarding with the results I’ve achieved with my own students. Genuinely surprised at so many positive reviews, although the tutor was great, the company and it's policies are unethical. I was told by one manager that I could continue using the tutor on a casual basis, as my child felt they didn't need the support anymore. I then recieved an intimidating phone call from Ben ( director) saying they don't do casual and to be honest my son 'isn't even that good' therefore shouldn't be canceling tutoring. From the moment my husband and I met Ben from Full Spectrum Education in mid-2024, we felt a glimmer of hope during what had been an incredibly difficult time. Our 13-year-old son, who is diagnosed with ADHD, was struggling immensely in traditional school settings. He had been expelled from a private school and unfairly labeled a bully by teachers who saw him as a burden rather than a child in need of support. After enrolling him in a public school, things didn’t improve. We faced constant meetings, suspensions, detentions, and were repeatedly reminded that our son was a "troubled" child. Their solution was to isolate him—two hours a day outside the principal’s office, alone, with schoolwork he was expected to complete independently. Unsurprisingly, this led to more behavioral issues and frequent calls for us to pick him up early. Eventually, we made the difficult decision to withdraw him from school and look for a different path. That’s when we found Ben at Full Spectrum Education. From our first conversation, it was clear that Ben was different. He didn’t view our son through the narrow lens of compliance or standardization. Instead, he saw potential, intelligence, and a child worthy of support. He offered us a variety of options we hadn’t even known existed and, for the first time in a long time, we felt hopeful. Thanks to Ben’s guidance, we created a personalized tutoring plan tailored to our son’s needs—one that included one-on-one instruction, brain breaks, and a completely non-judgmental approach. Our older daughter was struggling with Year 12 VCE and Full Spectrum Education came to the rescue. Ben and the team were very helpful and accommodating and flexible around her work schedule and she made it through. Now our younger daughter is dealing with a bunch of issues and with Year 12. Once again Ben and the team stepped up, were super helpful and have provided her with a well-suited tutor in double-quick time. Absolutely shocking experience. Had to go to VCAT to get a refund of the money paid to FSE. It took us a year until we received our money back. Their terms and conditions are unfair they don’t care about the customers and are stupidly expensive for what they offer. That on top of constant cancellations and changes of tutors. They have the highest rotation of tutors because they can’t retain many. Stay away from their services. More...

Charmath has been an amazing worker with my child. My child was coming off more than two years of school refusal with severe anxiety. Charmath has been patient, attentive and amazingly flexible to work with. My kid was recommended by their school to take Foundation maths in year 11 due to the interruptions in the education. However, Charmath was able to help my kid build the missing knowledge to give them the confidence to tackle General Maths. I have twins in grade 3, both have struggled to maintain pace with their peers. I decided to look into additional tutorials, after an exhausting process I stumbled across Full Spectrum Education. To my surprise after my initial reach out I received a call from the founder Ben Maher we hit it off immediately and felt very comfortable that he would place the correct educator to meet my children’s needs. Last year I was on a journey to find a highschool that could support our sons needs. After being rejected and given false hope several times. The lessons were very beneficial and her tutor (Anita) was amazing.
