Describe your creative process.
We break our design process into 2 main phases that start from an "Exploration" stage, then working into a "Development" phase. Each phase has curated activities to either "get an answer" on the feasibility of an early concept, right through to a physical prototype or manufactured product.
Product Visualisations
Product Visualisations are conceptual designs of a product idea that we generate in a digital format. These conceptual designs are to help communicate the key features or innovation to stakeholders, use for marketing or pitch presentations.
These concept designs are either in the form of sketch concepts or photo-realistic computer generated images
Prototyping
Prototyping comes in various forms. Typically 3D printing is a great way to visualise your design in a physical form. There are several options to selecting the right prototyping process, material or finish which all need to be considered based on the end result you are trying to achieve.
Product Development
We specialise in creating innovative products with a strategic focus on intellectual property (IP). Our unique approach integrates IP strategy into the design process, helping you generate protectable IP embodiments while avoiding prior art conflicts. Whether refining an idea or starting fresh, we ensure your product is not only functional and market-ready but also strategically positioned for IP value and protection.
Manufacturing
We provide contract manufacturing and have an extensive network of manufacturers both overseas and in Australia. Our approach is different, we have the manufacturing process and outcomes in mind first, rather than hoping a design can be made after being completed.
Our services include design for manufacturing (DFM), production optimisation, supplier coordination, and quality assurance.
Intellectual Property
We support Patent Attorneys with the patent process by creating illustrations formatted to IP guidelines for both Patents filings and Design registrations.
We help to strategise and implement design features that seek to beef up patent claims or help to design around existing infringements and prior art (Existing protections).
