How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Depending on current approved plans and complying with national building regulation most garages will be suitable for conversion.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
1. First there will be a brief from the client(s), conveying what the requirement is.
2. Architect will design concept as per brief received.
3. After approval from client, architect to investigate regulations and convey to client.
4. Depending what design is other consultants are involved. (Structural. Electrical engineers etc.)
5. Architect to submit project to local authority for approval.
6. Discussion with client if he would like to tender project or negotiate with contractor.
7. Construction start and architect issue construction drawings and start supervision.
8. Project completed, architect sign off after snagging process.
