Everyone has a way that they want to be portrayed. After 12 years in the industry, I take pride in that I take the time to get to know my subjects. When I'm done I'm setting up, I promise you I am someone that will make you laugh, find your best angle, and find the best way to possibly photograph you. And we'll laugh over tea while doing it. My photography is more about taking pictures. It's about capturing people. True people. Capturing you.
Meeting and working with a wide variety of people and cultures, I often see incredible cool stuff that keeps me inspired to take the best shots possible. Many jobs take me to new venues and places, constantly stimulating me creatively to come up with new ideas for shoots. I often discover this through the beauty in the small things in my everyday life, which inspire and motivate me.
Growing up with my grandfather who was himself a photographer played a crucial role in my development as a child and eventual adult. After his passing, I realized that I too had a keen eye to capture a moment, and was partially inspired to do photography to venerate and remember my grandfather apart from the fact that I am good at it. Logically, I then started my own photography business to incorporate both.
I have excellent time-management skills, prioritized high-end editing skills, and my photography has earned great praise from numerous private and commercial clients. I have a very approachable personality that immediately sets people at ease. I have a knack to make people laugh, and this relaxes them in order to capture that perfect shot. I also offer competitive pricing to other photographers.
The editing part of my photography is currently the only service that can be efficiently done online or remotely. The actual shooting still needs to be in-person to capture the moment and the mood from a third-person perspective.
Apart from constantly wearing my mask, I also keep hand sanitizer. I adhere to the social distancing protocol. When in the proximity of the client, I encourage them to wear their masks too.

He not only creates the picture you have imagined, but also, makes you feel so comfortable that it doesn’t even feel like you’re having your picture taken. Having worked with some of South Africa’s top photographer And videographers for various occasions, personal and for business, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Brigitte is top of the top. Not only does she have the eye for photography as an“art”, she understands the people; the individuals who become her subject aswell as environment; the setting which becomes her backdrop. She knows what she wants to achieve creatively, but at the same time is completely open to collaborating when conceptualizing with her client. She is gracious, Operates with a gentle and calming quietness (unless she cracks a laugh) and is the epitome of top notch professionalism. I could not recommend Brigitte any more, for any occasion.
