What do you love most about your job?
Honestly, it’s the satisfaction of a job well done and seeing the relief on our customers’ faces once their pest problem is sorted. Whether it’s eliminating a wasp nest, getting rid of rats in the roof, or stopping ants from invading a kitchen, we love knowing we’ve made someone’s home or business safer and more comfortable. Plus, being out and about, meeting great people, and working across Wellington’s beautiful suburbs—can’t beat it!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I’ve always loved hands-on work and solving problems, but I wanted to do things my way—focusing on quality, reliability, and good old-fashioned hard work. I saw a real need for a pest control service that people could genuinely trust. So I thought, why not give it a crack? Now, years later, I’m proud of what we’ve built at Total Pest Control and stoked to keep growing, helping more Kiwis keep their homes and businesses pest-free.

Most of our work is hands-on, but we also offer remote advice and consultations for certain pest issues. If you're dealing with unwanted pests and aren't sure what to do next, we're happy to chat over the phone or via video call to assess the situation and recommend the best approach.
