3DR is a residential architectural design and drafting service

working on all aspects of residential design we can take you though the design process to gaining building consent drawings as outlined below.

Most projects have three distinct stages:

Concept Design - Assess site conditions and constraints. Develop brief. Provide sketch plans, elevations and renders as required.

Developed Design - Develop the plans and specification to an extent that allows sufficiently accurate cost feedback to be obtained, providing an opportunity to control costs through re-design (if required) before fully committing to building consent and construction documentation.

Building Consent / Construction Documentation - Detailed architectural plans and specification suitable for construction and obtaining building consent. Co-ordinate and liaise with any consultants that have been engaged for the project (Engineer, Surveyor etc) and collate their documentation ready for lodgment to council. We lodge the documents to council for you and manage the project through until consent has been issued.

3DR is an owner operator business with the benefit being that you will only be dealing with one person throughout the whole project
