I called a friend who is a contractor and asked him if he knew someone. He gave me Angela’s name and number. We talked a bit, she came over and boom, instant connection. She understood what I was trying to describe and explained why I could or couldn’t do what I had envisioned. When she came back with my plans, I was so blown away, I cried. Never had I imagined what she presented could in any way be done with in my teeny, aged bathroom. I realized a second bathroom would be needed while the old one underwent its transformation. Angela did not disappoint! We cleaned up the furnace, utility room area, put in a full bathroom and redid the living part of the basement. A basement I no longer went into because I hated how cluttered it was. It is now our favourite space and friends and neighbors cannot believe the change. Angela made me realize how crucial a designer is for even a small renovation. She especially recognized my budget. I once again love my house! Choosing SCD & Angela Wong was the best decision ever! We downsized from a 5 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom condo & wanted to incorporate some of our furnishings, including Antique Chinese doors, into wall units. We loved Angela's designs, loved the fact that she emphasized our ideas & tastes, loved working with a designer-contractor. Angela was always very professional. Angela Wong from SCD was in charge of the project of my backyard including the pool and the landscaping. Being very busy and having her as the designer of my house, i trusted her with the project. She was there when we had an issue with the pool contractor. she was there everyday until the issue was fixed. I love her dedication and ethics on any work she has done in my house. I was looking for a design consultant to help me decide on on what would be the best design for my master bedroom. I needed serenity and relaxation. I was happy when I meet Angela, she not only helped me to create the oasis I was looking for but her patienst and understaning of my specific needs was refreshing. It was wonderful as well because she specializes in Feng shui which has been a great help in getting the right energy flow in the room which helps me when dealing with my different medical conditions. Hello, I needed my office to be decorated and I needed help. I was referred to Angela (Samantha Chung Designs) by one of my friends who had recently worked and still is working with her. In the beginning I was hesitant because I had worked with other designers and I was never satisfied.
When I first met with Angela, I was so pleasantly surprised with her presentation, she was a true professional. She took her time to explain to me how she works, explained the concept of Feng Shui which I did not understand at first but now I do. She took the time to actually listen to my needs, wants and took down my wish list.
My first meeting went so good that I couldn't wait to actually see what she'd come up with. All I can say was WOW!!! She gave me a booklet with all design details of my office including the budget, which I had never gotten in the past from others. I knew what to expect.
There were some small issues during the the execution of the project but that's where Angela and her crew showed me who they really are. True to their word, professionals, perfectionists (which as I client I love). Angela's true leadership skills were proven. At the delivery, I was happily taken aback by my office. It is a beautifull,professional office.
I'd like to thank Angela and her crew for a excellent job. Looking forward in working on more projects.

We began with the idea of renovating our kitchen and bathroom, and ended up deciding on a complete main level renovation! SCD provided excellent ideas and suggestions to help us realize our dream and transform our space and was extremely diligent in ensuring that budgets and timelines were respected or met with minimal delays where hidden issues were not evident prior to demolition .

Angela and her team at Samantha Chung Designs did an amazing job on our recent bathroom renovation. What started as a vague 'spa-like' vision turn into a detailed plan and execution of our dream bathroom.

Angela updated us on a daily basis on the work progress and took care of any issues that arose. Any impacts on the budget were discussed and solutions were presented to us for approval. I had recently hired Samantha Chung Designs (SCD) to completely flip my living room. The room was so awful, being bland and outdated, I was practically way too embarrassed to have company over. My living room is now completely different! And definitely in good way! My guests constantly give me compliments on the chic furniture and décor and tranquil colors! Angela took care of the design and had excellent suggestions for both esthetics and functionality, including lighting. She worked well with my husband and also respected our budget. All the kitchen cabinets, granite counters,and the sink were sourced by her. Everything arrived on schedule and in the right sequence, Angela suggested that we use her installers so that we could have a warranty on the kitchen. This was good advice. My husband has worked in renovations and has seen and participated in quite a few installs and he was extremely impressed with the quality of the installation and attention to detail.
