My wife and I had spoken to several trainers to train our 3 year old Goldendoodle over the holidays and we just couldn't find the right fit. Either they wouldn't let us see where he was staying and we didn't want him to be in a kennel. It was our Groomer that recommended Friendly K9 to us and honestly, we didn't even know their was a place like this. For anyone looking for more of a home base training, we highly recommend Sal and Jordan with Friendly K9. We love the fact that Prince has his own own room and we get videos everyday. This is the first time he wont be coming with us and Sal and the team made us very comfortable and were transparent with everything. We can't wait to see our boy and excited to see how well he does in his Obedience program. I'll update this review on the training results when he graduates. Thanks again guys for really making us feel like this was the right decision.

Words cannot describe how happy we are to have worked with Friendly K9. We adopted Blue about 9 months ago from a shelter in Texas. When she first arrived we thought she was doing good considering. But about 3 weeks after we started noticing she was becoming more comfortable and began resource guarding high valued things like her food, her toys, even random things on the floor. We spoke to a few trainers and they suggested we would need a behaviorist and recommended Sal with Friendly K9. Right from the start Sal was extremely understanding and very supportive. It was really hard for us to have her be away for 2 weeks when we just wanted her to settle at home. Sal took the time to explain everything and why he felt is was best she stayed with him for a 2-week Anxiety Program. We are so glad we trusted him with are girl. It has been an amazing journey and we learned so much about her and ourselves. We really liked how Sal never seen her as aggressive and understood what she went through. The fact he was able to make the connection to the root cause and help her overcome the fear she was showing is amazing. Her reactive behaviors wasn't by choice but a defensive response of uncertainty. We loved the fact we received video's and training updates everyday, it really made us confident she was in good hands and gave us a lot to understand before the end of her program. She's been home now for 2 months and the difference is night and day. Theirs been no signs of resource guarding and Sal was extremely informative in teaching us how to continue helping her at home. We're so grateful for everything Sal has done as it's really changed her life and feel it's really helped her feel safe. Thank you so much Sal and the Friendly K9 Team. We can't wait to have her stay with you guys for boarding in Feb. Highly recommend to anyone adopting and need help.
