What do you love most about your job?
I greatly enjoy working directly with a small group of clients and being actively involved with their businesses. When I know that clients are consistently growing month over month and year over year with a clear financial plan to meet their business goals is the part that I enjoy most about my business.
My team thinks of themselves as an extension of our client's teams. We are available for them as needed to help in any way we can.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I grew up with my parents owning a restaurant. My time after school was spent at the restaurant growing up. I always knew I eventually wanted to own my own business and combining that with my passion for numbers it was a natural fit to open an accounting and bookkeeping business.
Prior to starting my own business, I worked with a variety of different bookkeeping and accounting companies doing everything from auditing, corporate and personal tax returns and bookkeeping for a variety of businesses. In addition, I also worked as a financial manager for a startup software company. This gave me a vast amount of knowledge prior to starting my own company in 2014.
