What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Photographs are not taken, they are made. Like a concert pianist playing a piano with such flow and grace to produce an audible piece of art work from a piece of sheet music, so-too the photographer must present the same skill when given something, someone, or someplace to photograph. True, when presented with a subject, it is possible to simply document what unfolds before us with the tools that we have, but to be great, a story must be told and one exists behind every photograph we make.
