Why should our clients choose you?
Thank you for your interest in Niagara Counselling Services. Yes, we are accepting new clients. I am the Clinical Supervisor of Niagara Counselling Services and I have been a professional counsellor for 28 years, specializing in individual and couples/marital counselling, and a counselling/ psychology professor at Niagara College for over 20 years. We are usually available Monday to Friday from 10 am to 10 pm with an office in Welland. (Sorry, we do not work on weekends). Our schedule usually fills up so very quickly these days. Our usual rate is $100 per hour for individual counselling and $120 per hour session for couples counselling payable by cash, cheque, Visa, MasterCard or e-transfer. Sorry, our agency does not accept debit at this time. As for possible insurance benefits, our staff consist of Registered Social Workers with a RSW. Clients pay us directly and we issue a receipt to submit to your insurance. It is your responsibility to check your benefits to ensure you are covered for RSW. Otherwise, * you may definitely use your receipt for income tax purposes under medical/health care expenses as we are Registered Health Care providers.
Please note: we are not a psychologist and we do not accept Green Shield, Medavie/Blue Cross or RWAM insurance. Sorry, we do not invoice insurance or EAP directly. Our services are not covered by ODSP or OW.
