What’s your interior design process?
After initial contact we’ll arrange an in-person or virtual meeting to discuss your individual requirements.
Following an in-depth analysis of your needs we will first define which of our many services you may require whilst considering your lifestyle, budget and time constraints. We will then start with an initial site visit which will allow us to create project proposals.
From the brief we develop sketches, mood boards, and provide scale drawings in 2D (if applicable). Technical drawings include cabinetry or millwork details, furniture layouts, lighting and floor plans.
We also provide you with detailed selections of the furniture, fixtures and fittings for you based on individual project sourcing as well as samples of the proposed materials and finishes. This stage allows you to visualize how your space comes to life.
Our services includes project coordination and administration. This involves following the completion of the project and working closely with relevant tradespersons, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that each stage of the project is carried out to the highest possible standards.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
From new builds and renovations to furniture and styling, we pride ourselves in working with all Interior Design aesthetics and prioritize our clients needs and functions as well as their individual sense of style.
We have experience with contemporary, transitional, modern farmhouse, traditional, mid-century and eclectic.
What do you love most about your job?
We thoroughly enjoy making connections with our clients and seeing the amazing end result of our collaboration. The ability to stay creative, innovative and problem solve has allowed us to build many incredible relationships with both clients and trades.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Sue came to Canada from the UK in 1986 with a degree in Interior Design. After working extensively as a team player for 20 years, she founded Leading Edge Interiors in 2007. Her hands on experience and knowledge in upholstery, custom furniture and drapery was inspired from her love of textiles.

Yes, absolutely.
An e-design package may include a pre-determined quantity of design hours and consultation, digital mood boards, interior selections plan, and all relevant sources to product/material (links).
We may also provide further support via video meetings and communication to see through to the project's completion.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have remained abundantly cautious and careful since the first onset of Covid-19 in our area. All local protocols have been adhered to (mask wearing, distancing when possible) and our team members are fully vaccinated.
