Trying to help protect future people avoid a disaster. We had given Edgar the benefit of the doubt to fulfill a contract however when the contract was cancelled within the 30 day according to the consumer protection act he refused to give our deposit back. He proceeded to tell us and give us the run around. It was no small deposit of $6000. This is a very small price to pay when we witnessed his workmanship first hand and we had dodged a bullet. Beware and tread cautiously with this contractor. The business man and his foreman are constantly throwing each other under the bus. He did try and come back and offer to give us money if we took down all reviews and then of course in Edgar fashion ghosts us. The city of Rockland permit department is well aware of this company and make sure you have permit in hand because they love to go rogue at the owners disparity. More...

Unfortunately, clients are reviews happen all the time this client did give a deposit for a job but did not do her homework with her mortgage company/bank. They did not allow for funds so client decided to buy a new house we offered to trade off Work for the deposit which deposits are nonrefundable to secure our time for work. Client did not do her homework. This is her own fault. All of our information is in the contracts. Unfortunately, we cannot share this on the site because it is personal information.

I am so impressed by the way that the Lavergne Home Improvement Renovations Inc took care of me. It is incredible. I have been scammed by an other company which happened to have the same name Lavergne. When I explain my story to Mr. Edgard Lavergne, he had compassion and because he doesn't want the name Lavergne to be tarnished by a such a bad behaviour, Mr. Edgar Lavergne reimbursed me all the money that the other company stole me. My front steps (stone) were sinking due to previous poor installation. Lavergne Home improvement replaced them with a beautiful composite deck that added new curb appeal to our property. They also did a great job making some repairs on our backyard deck and added a nice gate for access to a new pool. I am very pleased with their excellent hard work. Stay away! I am writing this on behalf of my elderly grandparents. Few months ago they were looking to have work done to their home interior and reached out to a few companies for quotes, including Lavergne Home Improvements. The owner (Edward?) showed up and immediately they found him to be rude and pushy. They are elderly but still sharp enough to recognize when someone tries to take advantage of them just because of their age.
