I am a wordsmith. I have composed poetry, songs, and a novel and have answered very successfully many RFPs for Hardware, Software and Consulting as an IBM Business Partner. I have also composed and written marketing content for several Real Estate Brokerages.

I am an artist ….. with words!

...... you will see from the detail below that I lived in an environment that was involved in responding to customer’s requirements for a solution or recommendation or advice on a very complex large scale corporate problem… Usually involving a mainframe, very large Hardware, Software and Consulting Services!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Love to write and be creative.
Being an “outside the box dweller” means also explaining to a middle-aged gentleman why he needs a “Twin-Turbo” for only an extra $50,000 on his soon-to-be-purchased new Porsche! The average age of a Porsche owner in Toronto is 55 years old!
I believe that having wordsmithing skills is a talent equal to, or perhaps even more important than, having technological expertise! You do not have to be a Porsche mechanic to sell a beautiful Porsche complete with a Twin Turbo!
Or perhaps it means having a way with words and to be able to explain to an avid golfer why they need to pay $900 for a new Driver because it has a very desirable Moment of Inertia (MOI) and and also a very desirable “Coefficient of Restitution” (COR) … and give them a very warm feeling that their golfing life is about to change!
My real IT life meant responding to RFPs for complex solutions in large Data Centres involving requests for information and pricing quotations for Mainframes and all of the supporting equipment and software and services.
My responses were successful in my organization becoming the Vendor of Record for Mainframes (VOR) for the Ontario Government. A huge victory.

Because I have a lot of experience, I love what I do and am very good at it. I can explain very complex issues like Turbos on a Porsche or MOI on a Driver and be understood.

I consider myself to be a wordsmith ,,, to have a way with words. I am not very technical but can explain the way I understand things to Clients or Users. I often use the analogy that you do not have to be a Porsche mechanic to be a successful Porsche salesman.
