What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I personally love looking for perspective. Can I make the subject look grand and powerful in their surroundings, can I make the subject look like a significant yet small piece to a larger plain. Whether that is framing the shot, utilizing light, or simply finding the right contrast between subject, foreground, and back ground, all of it comes together to tell a story.
As a avid videographer I love using subtle movement and playing off the Cinemagraph concept, where something looks like a photo but with subtle movements is identifiable as a video.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is your vision? What feeling do you want from the images/ video when complete? If only one thing was going to be captured what is the shot you don't want missed?
