Graduating during a pandemic meant no crossing the stage to get any photos - I'm glad to have found Miguel on Bark. He made sure that I was satisfied with the results. He was professional, very communicative during the entire process and made sure I was comfortable during the shoot. When rain caught up to us suddenly, he tried to make the most of it but eventually suggested a re-shoot of some of the areas. The post edits of the photos were phenomenal as well. I love producing photographs that will become memorable family heirlooms or add value to a business’s endeavours.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The drive to express myself creatively, isn’t something that can be attributed to any single event or experience. It’s innate. It’s like breathing.
Attempting to earn a living from my photography wasn’t an easy decision. It was fraught with much uncertainty, but it did provide me with the invaluable luxury of working from home and, thereby, being present in the lives of my children through their early and teenage years.

First and foremost, I’m a Professional Photographer, not a hobbyist making a few bucks on the side to finance the yearly Caribbean cruise.
It’s my job to direct a photo session and that includes helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera. It’s my job to understand body language and direct “natural” poses. It’s my job to understand the technical challenges and solutions

Like photography and smartphones, far too many people think that they're writers by the simple virtue of being able to hold a pen or place their fingers on a keyboard.
