With a week's notice, and changes to the menu to accommodate, vegan, glutton free, no seafood and a few fussy eaters, for 30 people, Jennifer and the team were fantastic. Zing Fresh catered for our New Years Eve party at very short notice this year and last year and they were outstanding! The food was unique and delicious and there was plenty of it. The staff passed around all night and exactly according to the agreed timeline. Jen was spot on with her advice as to how much to order. What’s your signature dish?
It is more my overall style than a specific dish that I am known for. The Zing Fresh signature is contemporary infused with a colourful dash of daring. It is inventively glamorous multicultural Oz fusion, offering welcome adventure with an aftertaste of scrumptious surprise.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We chat & I ask for a few adjectives that will help to describe the type of event you imagine. You share your specific hopes & overall vision & then according to event formality, season, location, guest numbers... ; I’ll guide your decisions towards the most appropriate & popular selections. Ultimately, your dreams are transformed into a deliciously personalised menu befitting the service style you seek:
- grazing platters or tables
- roaming canapes
- seated dining

What do you love most about your job?
There is no mistaking that am totally living my passion. The opportunity to intertwine my styling skills with food to present artfully delicious innovation is what excites me. Exercising my instinctive creative talent with food as a culinary artist is what fulfils me. Seeing clients/guests' faces when they see & taste my cuisine is what rewards me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It was a "no brainer". I saw the shortfalls of other businesses which offered predictable or inflexible menus, short changed guests with food intolerances & disrespected the earth through unsound, wasteful practices. My approach to food combination, presentation, service & conservation has great relevance and appeal in today's world of discerning tastes & needs.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
New menus have been introduced to cater events with a delivery/collection style service.
Over & above the usual high standards of hygiene, staff wear face masks & physical distancing is adhered to. Beyond these obvious changes, all services are provided in accordance with a state government approved Covid 19 Safety Plan.
