What do you love most about your job?
Helping other business owners improve the results of their business. This is not always making more money, it could be having more time or helping more customers.
It is one of the best things to see, when a marketing campaign or a business idea starts generating results and having the owner say thanks for making it possible.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was a senior manager in a corporate enterprise which was taken over, and my whole management team was forced out by the new owners.
What I wanted was more control and more freedom and this consulting business has allowed me to help lots of small business owners.
Its been over 6 years now and each new client is a new challenge, and it is very satisfying when they achieve the results they want.
Why should our clients choose you?
Your Business Optimised is not like some of the bigger agencies in Brisbane, but we are also not a one man band. We work with a team of people who help out when required and we are all focused on getting the best results possible, in the shortest time at the best price possible (no not the lowest price).
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes we do probably 50% of our consulting online or remotely.
Most of the implementation happens in the office at West End and we then hand this over to clients to manage or we provide our services as Done For You.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We do a lot more consulting zia Zoom or remotely.
If clients do need to come into the office, we have a Covid safe plan and a separate meeting area that meets the restrictions.

We really like working with clients who have an online store and website traffic - but they are getting the results they want.
We always find something more they can do to generate leads and nurture sales while building long-term relationships with customers.
CRM systems and Marketing Automation
Most clients we work with don't have an engaged database and/or are not using marketing automation to make sure prospects are followed up, tasks are completed by their team and reports generated.
You can eliminate many manual tasks with automation and this frees up staff to concentrate on contacting prospects who have shown interest or not taken action.
